Baja Blast!

It looks like windshield washer fluid, and it tastes like Fresca. It can't get any worse than that.

Congratulations, Pepsi-Cola...You've made my visit to the Taco Bell drive thru a never-ending aftertaste experience!

Anybody else have other stories from the trenches of Soda Pop?

I don't mind real Fresca, actually. The worst carbonated beverage evAr was in fact Pepsi Kona - overly sweet Pepsi with coffee flavor added.
:yuck:

Urgh agreed! :yuck: It's just hit our shores under the name "Pepsi Max Cappuccino".

A waste of 82p too. :grumpy:

That malt drink is pretty awful and i can't stand root beer.

Malt drink is pretty bad but i quite like root beer.

Bitter lemon is pretty bad, so is lemonade that costs 17p...

Probably Asda (Walmart?) 'Savers' Cola - also sold in the gardening department as weedkiller, and sometimes used by riot police as people-repellent... it tastes like someone dissolved 100 paracetemol tablets in it, which is ironic, because if given a choice between drinking that pr Asda's super-cheap cola, it would be a tough call...

Once I was at a Safeway vending machine. I put my quarter in, fully expecting to push the "Lemon-Lime" button. Then my friend shrieked "push the mystery flavor button!!" Being young and daring, I pushed the button which promised a surprise. And a surprise I got indeed. Did you know that someone decided to make a red licorice-flavored soda? The first swig ended up on the sidewalk, and the rest ended up in the trash. It was a good ride for 25 cents, though :)

Guru is pretty nasty, as well as cherry Coke. Sprite tastes like carbonated Kool aid to me, and the defunct low (or zero?) calories Coke or Pepsi, with golden cans were just awful.

It's some Irish Energy drink...

it's most foul crap i've ever tasted...

funny label though

"Does not replace the fluids lost from diarrhea

I can't stand Ginger-beer.

Or Ginger-ale for that matter, but I think they might be the same thing... :odd:

lol, Asda cola isn't too bad, unless you get the smartprice crud :yuck:
The red labelled one is nice

I personally thought CocaCola totally missed the ball when they released Vanilla Coke. That stuff tastes like liquid plastic with a dash of urine. I used to like Fresca, but the aspartame ruins it for me nowadays.

As far as ginger beer goes, isn't Vernor's one? I like that one...

I tried and tried to adapt my tastebuds to Brio, but I can't do it. I don't think I'll ever be able to get used to something with a flavour akin to old Italian men's ball sweat.

Vanilla Coke is good, but the vanilla flavor is too subtle. That's why Pepsi Vanilla is better. You can actually taste the vanilla.

Straight Club Soda. I use to mistake it in the grocery store when I was a kid for Cream Soda. Don't ask why I thought they were the same thing, I was only 5 or 6 maybe, but I remember gagging like crazy after one sip.

That's good except I don't think I've ever seen Pepsi Vanilla for sale here in Canada...

I don't know what the worst is, but it has to be an energy drink. Red Bull (that's carbonated right?) is pretty heinous. I've had some other kind of energy drink that I can't remember the name of that was just abominable.

Everyone here knows that energy drinks are nothing but heavily-caffeinated beverages right? There are no secret ingredients in Red Bull or any of those other drinks. a couple of cans of Coke or somehting like Mountain Dew Energy will give you the same result, and you won't have to pay through the nose.

Energy drinks are a complete ripoff. Now back to your regularly-scheduled topic.

..and it'll taste better too. I can't stand energy drinks - which is why they spring to mind for a topic like this. :)

I have to go back some, but I hated New Coke, I have also gotten a swig or two of some spanish soda flavors that my 5th son likes.
I find them to be way too sweet.
But then, I tend to drink tons of carbonated water.

any of those junk fruit drinks in a can, like fruitopia. Fruit was meant to be eaten or drunk but not carbonated or mixed with other fruit!

Back before my doctor told me that Pepsi was taboo because of my eczema, (H3PO4 is really inflammatory stuff) I thought that Pepsi and Pepsi vanilla were light years better than their Coca-Cola counterparts. I've heard that Coke has more citric acid than pepsi, but i'm not sure of it.

The winner of the most revolting beverage is......

...Surge. While, as a 3rd grader, it was fun to get smashed on the caffeine rush, but it tasted awful. It's slime green color looked repulsive, and tasted like mountain dew mixed with vinegar.

And, the winner for the worst supporting beverage is:

... Hansen's energy drink company products. I had two different ones, and they both tasted like gummi bears dipped in citric acid, liquefied, and blasted with several chemicals most of the buyers can't even pronounce. And, besides that, it was really sour!

:yuck:

I always hated Perrier. Who makes water that bitter and expects people to drink it anyway? Horrible... :yuck:
