As some people have seen here in GTP, there are some people who are or have been dealing with some hard times in life or, perhaps have been having a series of unfortunate events.

So how about a thread dedicated to posting things that can boost ones motivation, whether it be motivational pictures or inspirational quotes?

This thread has inspired me to reply to it, so I could thank you for making it. :)

You just made my day/night a whole lot better.

Hopefully it affects others the same way. 👍

P.S. Sorry for using an emoticon with every line. :p

No worries, if it's making you feel better, then the thread is doing what it's supposed to do! 👍

This song is an instant jolt of joie de vivre, sort of a :censored:ing nitrous shot of positive energy. It may not be everyone's cuppa' tea but I hope some of you like it!

I'm sure there are countless tales of people overcoming adversity that we could all draw from... I've always found this one affects me more than most...

Hey now,you're an All-Star!

This is what I often listened to some days ago. :D

And personally I second to "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, though I suck at what to post. :p

I want to motivate all the yanks to have a happy and safe 4th of July. Don't drink and drive, and don't shoot roman candles at each other. ;)

I've based a good part of my adult life on the song Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I wouldn't say it's motivational though, more inspirational.

A man sat in the audience and cracked a joke. Everybody laughs like crazy. After a moment, he cracked the same joke again. This time, less people laughed. He cracked the same joke again and again. When there is no laughter in the crowd, he smiled and said: “You can’t laugh at the same joke again and again, but why do you keep crying over the same thing over and over again?
