Well, it's not a GT40, but I thought I'd post a sketch of what the new Accord may look like. There also seems to be some talk of a Type R, but probably not for the US.
I thought I'd give credit for the drawing. I found it via a Car and Driver Forum , which linked to VTEC.net, which linked the the original story/pictures in what looks like a Japanese publication called Mag-X (mag-x.com). I've never heard of Mag-x , but there you go.
Originally posted by vat_man Gee - I really hope it's because of the drawing, but the front of the car seems totally out of proportion to the rest of the body.
Ha ha, I noticed that too. It's kinda chunky up front. But not all that different from the current model really. My parents have a loaded `99 - very fun little car. It just needs manual transmission. Too bad you can't get a V-6 with manual.
Ah, it's a Honda - they all look alike. Whoa ... that comes across as racist. Oops (: But seriously, you can see similarities between the Accord, Oddessy, and S2000. All cars from a common manufacturer are going to have a 'family appearance'. They're designed by the same people - what can you expect?
