To be raced in the Nurburgring 24 hour race.
4wd 464bhp and 398lbft from a turbocharged 2.5 petrol engine.
Same engine as the Audi TTRS and the S3 (in 335bhp form), I wonder if this could be the next engine for the Golf R? Currently it has a 4wd 2.0 turbo with 260bhp.

Nice car, but I still like the Scirocco GT24 just a little more. It's still a wicked race car.

What exactly is the benefit from having 4WD in a race car, and a Nords 24 one at that? Surely they'd be better off with only having the rears driven and saving weight (and likely front tyre life), no?

Grip. Given the variable weather conditions at the 'ring, 4wd would an asset. Besides, its much more valuable as a marketing tool if it has a drivetrain that is available in the road car.

Looks very beastly, should handle brilliantly. But those rear wheelarches...how big do they need to be?!
