The New VW VGT (Tune resetting to default)

I'm getting annoyed with this car now. It's happened for the third time now.
I add my tune settings to the car & go to race online. I race for a while then i return to the pits. Go back to the track & after several laps i notice the car feels different. I check & the tune i added has reset to default.
It doesn't happen every time just at random times. The first time it happened i thought maybe i didn't enter the tune but i remember doing it so i made sure i remembered entering them for the second time. The following day the same thing happened, then again today.
Anybody else noticed this problem?
 
@Gyro1780 Are you shutting off the game while you're still at the track? Or do you exit all the way out to the home screen before you shut down the game? I just noticed that you said "the following day", so I'm assuming you're turning off your PS3. Anyway, I've seen some people comment that if they turn off their PS3 while at the track, certain things don't always get saved correctly. You know how you see the words "Saving..." pop up in the lower corner when you exit to the main screen? Well, maybe your game isn't saving the tune? I'm just throwing that out there....If you are exiting all the way out to the main screen and the game is saving itself one more time before you shut down the game, then everything I just said obviously would not apply to you. Other than that, I'm not sure what the problem could be. Sorry and good luck! I hope you find the cause...

No i always return back to the home screen, let the game save then i turn off the PS.
Yeah it happened the first time. Then the following day i made sure i remembered entering the tune & it happened again. Didn't happen for a while then on Sunday it reset again.
I've entered the tune again yesterday & raced for while. Turned on my PS this morning & all is working fine. Will do some racing later to see if i can reproduce the problem to give better details here of how it's happening.

I always do a manual save after the automatic save, before shutdown ps3.

He seems to be referring to the tune not being retained during the lobby session during which it was applied.

That said, this isn't something I've experienced--despite having spent some time tuning the car.
