Gran Turismo 4 status

Expect to see Gran Turismo 4 sometime around late 2003 in Japan.

In the latest issue of the Japanese publication Famitsu, Sony Computer Entertainment commented on the latest status of the development of Gran Turismo 4, the latest entry in the highly acclaimed racing series for the PlayStation 2. A spokesman from the company said, "We are developing the game with a late 2003 release in mind. We are still in the process of working on the overseas version of Gran Turismo Concept, and plan to shift into the development of GT4 once we are done. It is still in early experimental stages, and we hope to have something running this year."
Gran Turismo 4 for the PlayStation 2 will feature network online capabilities. We'll keep you posted on the latest developments.

GT4 Should have a theme song, (like for ex. the a teams theme song) But with a racer twist. Something thatI'll relly get the game player ready to play. Or they could just use Lenny Cravitz, or maybe some old school 80's music, like White Snake, or Easy E or somethin'.. oh well I'm Happy as hell to get a new GT, hope it has more old school vehicles

Very nice to hear

good news...

I also heard that GT Next in Europe will be out mid/late 2002, and some magazines reckon they got the licence to Ferrari ! And a revamped version of Autumn Ring with all the tracks from GT3...
