This is just a hot car, I love the way it looks.

One of the many tuners showing off its wares in Frankfurt is Novitec Rosso, famed Deutsch tuners of all things from the boot-shaped nation. We caught wind of the firm's newest endeavor a month or so back, and today, we've finally got the details.

Beginning with the already competent Ferrari 599 GTB, the tuning haus sought to build off the Fezza's strong points while keeping body modifications as low-key as possible when starting with such a striking piece of machinery. The engine output has been bumped by 25 HP (totaling 645 HP) through the implementation of new exhaust with larger, 90mm dual tips and a revised ECU. Top speed has been increased by an addition 5 KM/H, and Novitec plans to go even further in 2008 when it releases a more comprehensive engine package.

To make things stick, the company has fitted a KW Automotive adjustable aluminum suspension setup, which also allows users to adjust ride height by a control within the cabin. The brakes have also been upgraded to 405mm on all four corners courtesy of a Brembo six-piston setup.

On the outside, down force and cooling is improved via a new body kit that includes a new front air dam, rear diffuser, wing, side flaps and a set of side skirts that incorporate larger intake openings. Naturally, the rolling stock has been upgraded, with 20-inch N3 wheels up front and 21-inch out back, wrapped in Pirelli P Zero rubber. Smoked LED taillights round out the visual mods.

You can check out a full gallery of images below, and rest assured that we'll be bringing live shots of the tuned 599 when we make the trip to Frankfurt in less than two weeks time.

I would love to see how it looks in black, but then again it is a Ferrari and Ferrari's should be red.

I'm quite happy with red on that machine. I think these guys made an awesome car even awesomer. That looks so fast. The rear could have been toned down a little, but I'm sure everything is functional. You don't rice a Ferrari. You just don't do it. That extra engine package should make the car totally wyld.

Novitec are the masters at what they do. They have the perfect wheel that fits every new Ferrari. Their bodykits aren't overdesigned like Hamann's, and serve an important purpose (Not that Hamann's don't either). And the blacked out taillights are just the cherry on top. 👍

It....looks perfectly normal, 'cept for the rear spoiler. but, hell, that looks like it was lifted from a much less expensive car.

.............What a very, very pointless car  . Give me a 599 and I'll happily cut-down some springs and contact bond a spoiler to the bootlid. 5km/h faster? That's casual walking speed if you didn't realise 💡 .

Now what wouldn't be a pointless 599 is something that is a fully stripped out, track day orientated star. Sure, it'd cater for a very narrow audience, but at least they wouldn't be "creating" what basically already exists.

I think the main bulk of the upgrades would be towards how it handles. Those rims are perfect IMO.

Awesome...... looks stunning  That is one sick Ferrari. I mean its not as "riced" as a Hamann but still not as stock as a normal Ferrari. A fine line between bread and butter (am i saying it correctly?) Hope that bodykit could be an add-on in GT5 :D

So, they added 25 BHP and only managed to wring 2 MPH out of it?
And its not like the tacky, Pontiac Grand Am-level glued on plastic bits add immensely to the car, either (though I will admit to liking how it helped the front). Nor does the spoiler they pulled off a Saturn SC2. The only thing that does add to the car's presence is the widened brake ducting, the lowered suspension and the painting of the rear airdam.
In contrast, Novitec Rossos' Twin-Supercharged Ferrari F430 both has much more presence and much more performance. Having known about that car before this one, it actually makes this one incredibly disappointing.
