Ok, You guys make this seem very very easy. And now i'm ready to quit my second attempt. 50% of my cities arer rioting every turn, and then, if they Revolt, there is majicall a massive army of rebels that are triple gold!!! W T F????

this game is really starting to get on my nerves. I dont have enough Generals to put in every city so It's virtually impossible at this point to keep the large cities without governors happy.

And where are you getting enough money to bribe people early on? and yet still being able to field armies large enough to conquer people?

I guess i'm going to have to go buy the damned stategy guide because I just dont see how I can win, and i'm playing of ****ing easy for crying out loud!!

Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. It sounds like you're expanding too quickly and not allowing your cities the time they need to grow and prosper. Look at what's inside. Try to build them up, and provide the infrastructure needed to thrive. Having just military buildings won't do the job, you need markets, roads, ports, and temples to ensure the happiness of the people. You also can't forget the tax levels :)

Your enemies will also have time to grow and get bigger armies but so will you. Besides, the larger the army, the more fun it is :D

I'm doing all that. It's, i think like 150bc in my current game and i'm not even outside of western Europe! Spain still holds the center territory on the penninsula, and Briton is still up there with 5-6 territories(luckily my ally) and the the Brutii house has all of eastern Europe.

How long is the Campaign game? I guess i'm just playing off the basis that it is going to end around 1 A.D.....

I missed out on Rome Total War and now I have a PC coming that can take it Medieval II Total War is on the horizon. But I'm gonna get this anyway.
Again (as I posted before) I can't find minimum/recommended specs for the new Medieval II Total War but I guess as it's not released the specs are'nt out yet. Anyway is it true that it uses the same game engine as Rome or has it been upgraded?

Cheers!
