Right, here are the instructions. Get a picture of the oldest rally car on a WRC event you can find, then say what the car is and what year it is. If you can, say who is driving it and the event as well, but you don't have to. The main things are the car and what year, but don't worry if you don't know them either, as someone else might. But please, do not post a picture up of a Apline Renault A110 1800 on the 1973 Monte Carlo Rally and say it is old. Reason being, it may be old now, but during the time that it took part in the event it was new. Now, I'll start...

I couldn't find a picture of this car competing on the event I was looking for but I have found a picture of the car, so thats good enough. This car competed on Rally GB this year with Mandy Bowman at the wheel, and as you can see it is a Mitsubishi Lancer Evoloution on a T-regestration, which means it was regestered between March 1999 – August 1999. Though compared to what some of you lot might come up with, this is probably pretty pathetic!

Did you say WRC?

I only found a Jowett Jupiter:

I think the plate reads, "1947 Monte Carlo Rally", but it is still quite old, the Jupiter being around in the 1940s.

Edit: Yes, that plate says 1947, but the photograph was taken in the 1990s.

I do remember reading somewhere that a Trabant took part on the Rally GB sometime in the 1990's. I'll see if I can find a picture and what year it was. Time to do some investegating shall I say!
