The Online Racing Association is proud to announce that we're expanding to the PlayStation platform, specifically Gran Turismo Sport, in 2018.

For our entire existence, we were primarily focused on the Xbox platform with the Forza Motorsport series. It seems fitting that at the end of TORA's tenth anniversary, we start a new era. This means expanding to different mediums and show off what we can offer to racers on various platforms. We're excited to say that our partners which have worked with us before on Forza will continue to work with us on Gran Turismo Sport and we've made some new friends within the GT Community to help us bring our events and series to you.

Starting with our new partner, Virtual Reality Racing (VRR). This group has been in existence for a few years now and has plenty of experience organizing events on the Gran Turismo platform. We're impressed with how they manage and run their championships and now they'll be organizing TORA sanctioned events on GT Sport. VRR's Founder, Evangeline Porter, had this to say:

Along with VRR, we've made a new friend in GTPlanet. All TORA series/event forums and information will be found here. We'll have our own dedicated section in the Online Racing & Leagues Thread for our series and events. We're excited that we'll be directly catering to the most well established GT Online Forum community on the web.

Now, let's get to business. The British GT Championship has been an absolute joy to work by organizing their Official eSports Championship and today we would like to announce that we'll be expanding that series to the PlayStation platform on GT Sport. It will launch in April and will run on Sunday evenings in Europe/Sunday Afternoons in North and South America. More details on the championship will be released in March.

Can't wait until April? Neither can we.

TORA has grown a reputation for holding endurance events on the Forza Motorsport platform. These events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 12 Hours of Sebring, and the 24 Hours of Daytona have become community favorites. Whether if you're a pro team looking for glory, or a group of friends wanting a challenge, these races will test all of its participants. In February, we'll be organizing the 12 Hours of Bathurst. Face the blazing straights and the unforgiving ups and downs Bathurst is known for. Details for this event will be released a few days before registration in Mid-January.

Well, that's all we have for today. We'll surely announce more events and series as the year goes by. We eagerly wait for the upcoming DLC's to see what we can produce and hope to make it an enjoyable experience for all of you. Until next time, happy holidays!
