The best way I get some fair close racing is to use the recommended cars online.
Everyone uses the same car, Now I;m BEGGING PD make all premium cars available for selection so we can have more choice for these type of races. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
I know loads of other players who are wanting this to happen
 
I understand the problem and this also makes the MP for me pretty useless. The PP-system was a nice start, but it doenst help at all. Road cars get nearly the same PP like a race car. The cars doesnt get compared by what they actually can do on the track.
 
Get into organized races (there is a subforum for that! ;)) and ALL your online problems will be solved regarding 'car differences', lame people, unfair races, etc. etc.

My 1000 hp road cars barely match my 500-600 hp race cars in PP. PP does measure their track performance. 400 hp is a huge advantage in a straight line, especially at speeds over 170 mph. But not all tracks let you get to that point. That's why race cars and road cars seem unbalanced.

I personally think that downforce should not effect PP. Downforce cars should be stuck at max PP, and they get a realistic drag penalty for using high downforce. Street car aero kits should also be made much more effective.

But just give us the OPTION for ANY premium car in this race Mode.
It could be easy for PD to unlock these cars for use in this race Mode in a forthcoming patch.
Opening up more choice for the player and how they'd like to race should really be considered!
All talk of how GT5 can evolve with patches and updates etc, this content is already in the game so it;s not like demanding DLC this or DLC that.
