The Order of Mods

Its a long time ago now so the details have come and gone with the blisters on my thumbs but i remember a little of GT1. One thing i remember is that if you did mods in a specific order you would end up with a car with around 20bhp more than just "slapping" on the mods any old how. I also seem to remember that once so many mods were done that it wouldnt allow you to do a displacment mod (on the cars which it can be done), even if you disabled all the previous mods. Can anyone verify this?

PD has done away with that. There is no way to combine and/or purchase the modifications to get a better HP.

The displacement increase is only available on a very few certain cars (search and ye shall find.)
