First off, I did a search to see if there was a thread like this and only found one from January 2008. It was just asking people if they used it and I want this one to be different.
My freinds all talk about Pandora Radio and how they always listen to it when they are on the computer. I never used it until a few days ago, and so far, I like it. Right now I only have one station made for myself. I named it Chill Music. It's all the music I find relaxing and cool, bands like Deathcab For Cutie, My Morning Jacket, The Postal Service, and one of my favorite bands which I based the station off of, Band Of Horses.
So what do you guys think? What do you listen to? You can discuss your stations, if you like the site, and there is a feature where you can e-mail your station to people, so if there is a station someone on here has that you might like they can just send it right to you.

I haven't listened to Pandora for a few months as I've been more interested in streaming 1001 albums you must listen to before you die. Needless to say, I'm not very far into that yet.

When I was listening to Pandora, I really liked it and the premise is simple enough it's hard not to like it. Pick a song or artist you like and they give you similar results. I have 10 stations set up, but a few of them are similar and could be consolidated. Some of them are, in no particular order: Buckethead, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Beasty Boys, Star Wars Episode IV score (currently playing Jurassic Park: A Tree for my Bed), Joe Satriani, Primus, Pink Floyd... Yes, I like my guitars. And orchestras. :D

It's a very cool way to discover new music/bands with a fairly good chance you'll actually like it without having to go and randomly search. Looks like I've pretty well talked myself into putting the 1001 albums on hold for a spell.

Edit: I just discovered that it has a 40 hour per month limit. Seems to have just lost quite a bit of it's charm for me...

I never heard of that before. I just quickly glanced through it to see what kind of music is on there and I was suprised. There is quite of variety. I was expecting it to be all rock, but I was suprised to see my favorite rap group De La Soul on their (among other things). And the hour limit thing is kind of a bummer, too.

If you want Chill music then make a Saxon Shore station.
