Oh, I'll have to check the sound at home. Without it the thing seems quite pointless.

My eyes appear to have broken now. Thanks.

That's an interesting algorithim. and downright hypnotic as well. Thank you, I'm now very, very dizzy.

I probably could enjoy this for a few minutes with a better "music". This one annoys me tbh...

var. 5 - chromatic - 88 tines and var. 15 - stereo - 120 are my favorites. You can slip into a trance really easily with var. 16 - stereo - 210

Look, i just wasted half an hour

I was just looking at it for 20 minuts and din't notice it.
Its like you can't stop looking at it untill the big red one goes all the way around.

Yay math !

I probably could enjoy this for a few minutes with a better "music". This one annoys me tbh...

Do you not realise that each dot makes a different noise when it corsses the line, and when the correct dots cross together, they make special kinds of sound waves, like harmonics, chromatics etc? It's all quasi-complicated math.

Without the sound, the program is entirely useless.

My fave is the crank powered one, especially if you hold the crank close to the middle and shake it all around. It's even better when you're whacked up on a couple hits of cold medication.

This is definitely one of the coolest things I've seen on GTP in years.

Although that could be the syrup talking.

I don't think it's that special
I do. The patterns that emerge, dissolve, re-emerge more strongly, dissolve again, and build to a crescendo are really really cool!

Wow, that is good. Reminds me of what my physics teacher was saying about the physics of music, with harmonics and frequencies etc.
Hehe, I confused the hand crank one :p

My ears hurt from having it too loud on the first one...

The stereo ones are just mad!

This is far more entertaining than I expected. For three minutes at a time, anyway :sly:

I was listening to 16 and then 15, and my roommate popped in and asked "What ARE you listening to?!"

I do. The patterns that emerge, dissolve, re-emerge more strongly, dissolve again, and build to a crescendo are really really cool!

Exactly! You don't even need to appreciate music theory or anything of the like to marvel at the patterns of the music.

var. 16 - stereo - 210 for some reason reminds me of the THX sound at points...?

Yeah, when it starts to speed up. Pretty cool. 👍

var. 3 - harmonics of 48hz, reversed
var. 4 - harmonics of 48hz, palindrome

Are my favorites. They remind me of old Zelda games when you would open a chest or do something in a dungeon.

The same thing happend to me, Revolution.
also one time, the tones were out of tune and it took about 2 seconds for what you saw to make the noise that goes with it.
