THIS THEME: OUTLAWS
(cars that are 'too' free spirited)
Our contenders are...
DODGE CHARGER!
Famous for starring in the Dukes of Hazard.
LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH
Famous for its appearance in the Cannonball run.
and
RUF YELLOWBIRD!!
This car has that outlaw spirit.
These cars were meant to be driven like you stole it--because they probably were in the first place! Don't you ever think of driving like a city man with these cars. they have a mind of their own and will throw you off within the first few minutes. You will probably have to trash the car because after your third launch the clutch will break. These are outlaws.
THE REVIEWS
DODGE CHARGER
Looks: 8/10
This car has that 'I'm a notorious badass that could care less about the fuzz' look. It was in a bunch of memorable movies, so who wouldn't recognize this?
Speed: 6/10
It has great acceleration for a car that's heavy, but sadly the top speed is nothing to be cheery about. But...
Handling: 7/10
Wow, this car is a complete maniac. I had the driving aids off and it would not stop drifting into very corner. Beware of the controlled handling. It is too boring.
Cop Evasiveness: 8/10
The cops should have a lot of trouble with the Charger's ridiculous handling and fair acceleration. This is a car not meant for drag but for small circuits (even though the car is
huge
)
Stunt ability: 9/10
The review above speaks for itself. I did multiple donuts, 180's J-Turns, a butterfly drift, slow drifts around corners, high-speed drifts through narrow spaces, this is definitely the stunt man's car.
VERDICT: A lunatic then, a lunatic now.
LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH
Looks: 8/10
When you first see this you will think "Whoa." It has a spaceship-like look: a look that screams performance (and tacky 80's memorabilia). I mean, look at the air vents on the side!!
Speed: 7/10
This juggernaut has a very nice top speed but for some odd reason it just doesn't travel fast. I didn't want to tinker with it to bias the review, so that was a bummer.
Handling: 6/10
A disappointing car when it comes to handling. It can't slide well and needs some persuasion to just turn. It feels more of a straight-line car, rather than a car similar to the charger.
Cop Evasiveness: 7/10
Perfect for highways where it feels free. Cops will definitely have a hard time catching up. This is
not a city car and will most likely get eaten up by the cops.
Stunt ability: 7/10
I didn't have a fun time with this. I was able to do a few drift tricks and a 180. The high speed is very fun to use when performing tricks, fortunately.
VERDICT: Like a bullet, it is meant to go in a straight line.
RUF CTR 'YELLOWBIRD'
Looks: 8/10
This small car is very mean. The front is small and streamlined and the back is meant to look like a fat person's bum so it can house the menacing 438HP engine.
Speed: 8/10
The Yellowbird eats chargers and Countachs for breakfast, lunch, and for a hearty dinner. The top speed is way high and the Yellowbird has no problem passing the speeds of the above reviewed cars.
Handling: 7/10
It is just like the Charger, only it can actually turn if you can put it under control. The sliding is very nice. It beat both records set by the Lamborghini and Dodge. I recommend this to any criminal wanting to escape the *cliche* Pace cars.
Cop Evasiveness: 9/10
Now, why the hell is this not in any car movies?
Stunt ability: 9/10
This is really like the charger. I did all of the Charger's moves with it, plus a few more moves. I can spin the back around and drive in reverse and spin the back around to drive forward, vice versa.
VERDICT: The Flight of the Bumble Bee.
This ends the reviews of the outlaws: Three menacing cars designed to avoid the law and smoke the competition. If you have any suggestion on next review's theme just post it in this thread. Thanks!
