I didn't realise the racing genre had gone anywhere?
I don't think it ever really did. There's only 2 genuinely new console games up there - one being an indie game and the other a major title - plus 1 remake coming. Every other console game up there is on a regular release schedule. I wouldn't call that any more or less spoiled at this point, or that the genre as a whole was tanking or went anywhere. I'd imagine we're more or less in the same spot so far, as we don't know what is/isn't going to be here in the future.

The ones I'm definitely getting on launch are Forza Horizon 5 (Series X) and Gran Turismo 7 (hopefully I'll have a brand new PS5 by then 😅). I'm also looking forward to playing Hot Wheels Unleashed and Solar Crown as well, probably on my PC (or Series X if my poor PC can't handle it).

WRC 10 seems very promising, and I plan to get it sooner or later, but I think I'll probably end up waiting for a sale. I'm keeping Grid Legends and Heading Out on my radar, but I'm going to wait for more information or reviews before fully committing to them.
