I intend for this to be the most elite racing series on GT Planet. The X2010 is a brutally-quick car, but I am sure there are some who are brave enough to drive it quickly.
This will be a 10-Round Championship, which uses Formula 1-style points scoring. See below

Each Race will be a sufficient distance to require 1 stop for refueling.
Races will be run in Day and Night conditions, but never in the rain.
All players must adhere to the GTP On-line Racing Guidelines.
There will be significant Prerequisites that need to be met before you are eligible to apply.
1. You must be AT LEAST A-Spec level 31
2. You must be a good standing member on GT Planet
3. You must have in the last 4 MONTHS have participated in at least 5 individual events which involved cars which were routinely marked as more than 475PP
4. You must have a Recommendation from another GTP member who you raced with, certifying that you are a good, cautious driver
5. You must have completed the "Sebastian Vettel X Challenge" Special Event, with at least one of the challenges being a Silver or higher(ie: 2 Bronze, 1 Silver or better)
6. You must have completed all of the "Ferrari Formula Challenge" Seasonal Events with a Gold
7. You must have completed the "iA" License Final Test
8. License "B" must be ALL GOLD
9. You are required to have completed the "Expert Challenge Race" Series with at LEAST 2nd place on all 3 challenges
10. You must have a coloured or S. Vettel-spec X2010. The Prototype is not allowed
These regulations may seem tight, but it is essential to insure that the least amount of crashing occurs.
If there is a Crash, a Safety Car will be deployed at the discretion of the Race Steward.
There will be a "Success Ballast" handed out each race.
1st. 15 kg
2nd 10 kg
3rd 5 kg
The ballast will continue to accumulate until you are in the last 3 finishers at least 2 times in a row.
The First race is slated for the 3rd weekend in August, but time and date will be set later on down the road. I hope to see lots of interest, as this promises to be one of the most exciting series on GT Planet!
