The Return of De Matta and De Ferran

This past weekend marked the return of 2 former Champ Car drivers to competitive racing. In Grand-Am, it was the return of Cristiano De Matta since the Accident at Road America in 2006 and in ALMS its the return of Gil De Ferran in the driver's seat since his last victory in 2003 at Texas and the debut race for his newly formed team. Talk about how you thought they faired in the races and how do you think they'll do over the course of the season.

I'm not a fan of them, so I didn't follow their racing.

De Ferran was impressive at Utah from the times he put up, but I think De Matta may be washed up. Formula 1 has a way of sucking the life out of some drivers. Watch the Speed Racer Movie. I say the sponsors in the Speed Racer Movie = Formula 1.
