OK I'm level 40 A spec, level 35 B spec and have a S licence though admittedly with some Bronzes in that to get it. I own over 1130 cars, some models three or four times over. The last OCD that came up had only 5 cars I didn't already own. Running 5 races and going to the UCD I may have anything from 0 to 3 cars that I don't already own. I have two Jag XJ13s, two Ferrari 330 P4s, two Ford GT Mk IVs, two 2Ds and so far only one 2J. Why two? Well it gives me 6 tunes using the tuning sheets so i can optimise them to six circuits and not loose the tune when I drive another circuit.

I get money from the Seasonals and re running a lot of my favourite races. I have 20 000 000 credits most of the time. I'm waiting for the 2J to appear in the UCD.

Do I forget the money? Buy something that will resell once I buy the 2J to get me back to 20 000 000 quickly in case something expensive turns up that I haven't got? Or something else?

Suggestions welcome.
 
The only time I've seen the 2J was in the OCD, never the UCD. I just simply bought any car I didn't own and eventually it appeared in the OCD. If you keep around 16,000,000 in the kitty, you should be able to run the seasonal events to get the cash, before it disappears in the UCD, if it ever foes appear!
 
Well both the 2D and 2J appeared in my UCD when I'd just spent 20 000 000 on the Ford Mk IV. Damn! The the 2D appeared a bit later so i bought it, for the second time. This is the second time I've seen a UCD with both in so they do turn up but not very often! Last time I bought the 2D and ground a ticket, given to me by a friend, for the 2J.

Takes some of the surprise out of it... but I've seen the 2J twice. Once I missed it... The second time I Harpooned it. It didn't get away.

That is the best analogy that I have heard for these cars.👍 Killing me with that reasoning!
 
Money wasn't the problem, I'm enjoying thrashing around the Nordschleife at 650 and 750pp A spec'! The 2J came up again a few days later and i bought it with ease. I now have a 2J specifically tuned for the Nordschleife!
