after looking for FF7 guides (trying to get yuffie to join "again")- beat the game already but decide to start over and i FORGOT EVERYTHING! i stumbled onto this site: Site dedicated to vincent v.

well to get on with the point, i found a page which talks about aeris' death (well not exatcly) the creator of the site just tells you how sad they were. and when i remember it was kind of sad :( seeing Aeris die, and i think the music added realism to it also....
well my opinon this was prolly 'THE' saddest moment in my video gaming experience....
heres the page :
Saddest moment of my life
and NO i didnt come up with the title,
& i felt like sharing this with everybody in GTP

Actually the saddest moment in Video game history for me was when my best friend finally beat me in a race in GT2. And he has never raced me again, claiming infinite superiority.

I think Aeris' death is a close second though...

I remember I was pretty choked up as well when Aeris died in FF7...I miss playing that game so much, wish I hadn't sold it to Funcoland

Space's #1 rule of video gaming:

-Never sell your video game's, the minute you leave the store you wish you had never sold it. plus you hardly get any money for the old one's, i traded in 34 nes games 7 years ago, and made a grand total of 34 bucks. i still kick my self for that.

there are several moments for me

aeris/aerith's death in ff7
gremio's death in suikoden (well kinda if you got all 108 stars then he would come back)
ffx ending, it wasnt too bad, but still

but the worst had to be in mgs2, when otacons sister dies, and the bird talking. that was just wrong, that shouldnt have happend.

My saddest moment in my gaming history is when mario (Mario64) drowns underwater...seeing mario actually struggle and hearing bowser laugh made me shed a tear...HA! >D

There are a couple of good moments in Ico for the PS2 as well. If you don't jump when leaving the castle, you see Yorda slowly move away until you fall into the water. Later on when she gets turned into a shadow and saves your life by carrying you out to the boat only to push it away leaving herself on the disintigrating island is pretty sad. Luckily it all works out in the end. ;)

When Cat Sith did what he did in FF7..
To me that was the saddest thing in FF7.

What you mean when he takes the black materia, falling on his fat ass on the way. Why would cait sith, who was basically reve of the shinra via remote controll having his candy ass crushed by the temple of the ancients be sad and then HIS CANDY ASS COMES BACK!

BTW has anybody used the Debug mode in FF7? I was using it and I found some scenes in the game that were cut out for some reason.

The saddest thing in gaming for me was finding out 2 months ago that there was a Streets Of Rage 4 in production but got canned

the saddest moment in my gaming career was when I lost to some other guy in a tekken competition for a white playstation 2

Another moment was when EA dissolved Looking Glass (creators of System Shock 2, for those not in the know, scarier then Resi, ;) )

And having to wait nearly 4 years for any news on a possible sequel to Half-Life. Come on Valve, FFS!

my saddest moment was when Link walked out of the temple of time into the ruined Hyrule castle in LoZ:OoT....

then prolly aeris' death...

 i still hated killing sepheroth, he was cool and i loved his music.....

Another sad moment was when Queen Braun summoned Odin and distroyed Clyera with all it's ppl in FF9.

Also loved Kuja's music, but what the hell was he wearing?!?!?
