The same cars have different PP?

If I want to tune the nuts off something I try and buy 2 of them, with one to keep standard. I went into my garage to pick one of my 205 ti16s to tune and both had 188hp but one had 400pp and the other was 374pp (I think).

What's going on?

I would guess that they are both used and one has more miles then the other.

Or the higher PP one was purchased pre 1.05/1.06 patch that took out tyres from PP equation. (but left the PP unchanged visually)

26PP difference suggests there are HP/weight/aero modifiers making the difference aswell. ( I may be wrong)

Check the weight. If everything's the same, then one of them broke in even more than the other.
