Well thought I'd wish ya good luck for Saturday, I'm sure after the two 2-0 wins over us last season you're feeling confident lol. We'll give you a better match this time.

Good luck with Franny, should he stay fit he'll bring a bucket of quality to your front line...unless he gets injured then you've just spent 700K on a player fit for probably half a season

If he picks up his form that he hasn't had for 7 years then yeah, otherwise I don't think he'll make much impact. That said, playing in the lower leauges will give him more time on the ball, so he might be able to shine again at that level.

He scored nearly a goal every other game for Ipswich Town in this league last season - a poorer team (in terms of final league position).

And it was down to him we finished 14th, seemed to be a completely different team with his quality in the ranks. That said after 3 games he had injured himself, and it was only down to a miraculous recovery that he got to play for the rest of the season at Town.

Biggest win in SEVEN years, at home to Southampton...

*has a premature party*

I thought i could hear the distant roar of approval when i walked the dogs over the weekend.

Well that was fun. One win lifts us to our highest league position since December and 5 places clear of the relegation zone we were nearly in.

Wednesday only lost 1 game between February 13th and the end of the season, and only 5 in 2008 altogether, and had the best goal difference of anyone in the bottom half of the table...

To show how close the Championship was, West Brom won the league on 81 points with Leicester getting relegated on 52 points - 29 points' difference. Currently Manchester United and Chelsea top the Premiership on 84 points. 29 points away are Blackburn Rovers in 7th. Proportionally it's just over 23 points' difference, which would put a team just behind Everton in 5th!

Thank crap it's all over.
