BMW 530 MLE.

What I thought was a 00s VW beetle crackerjack on copart, but it’s not. Lacks the interior trim, spoiler bit and the decals are placed to high on the body.

The VW crackerjack was design by Kozan Studios for the Frito Lay Company, for promotional use. 16 were made, no idea how many are left. Sold only in the US obviously, they had baseball gearknobs and baseball stitched seats.

Here is its info on a website about various special editions Beetles, not sure if this could even be considered special edition.

At the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds there used to be a Chevrolet Citation in an elevated wall display. It was the very first Citation ever built. Photos exist with the production team standing in front of the display. My father is in those photos. He was a maintenance electrician for GM's Oklahoma City plant all the way to his retirement. When a tornado destroyed the plant's paint booth he was one of the few who were kept behind to help fix it. The plant ran for four more years after that.

A couple more fine Motor Wheel Spyder applications.

The Deuce is one of 175 "baby" Yenko Novas equipped with the 360-horse LT-1 350 (compared to just 38 SC427s the previous year).

The Dart is a '74 Sport 360 (originally rated at 275hp), and it's a pity that it's not fitted with the "up and over" side and roof stripe package made available for '73-4 cars.

Here's one with it.

They changed it slightly for '75, going from a single fat stripe with a pinstripe above and below to four stripes of graduated widths.

My favorite Darts, however, are the Sports equipped with the 'Hang 10' package.

The outside is nice and all, but the inside of these things is something else entirely.

The 'Mod Top' is tame by comparison.
'70s A-bodies had some fantastic stripe packages, the Dart Sports and Duster 340/360s chief among them (apart from the Hang 10).

Seriously, how great is that?

I've only seen a couple of these. The paint color doesn't do it justice.

I don't know how that wasn't standard fare for Feather Dusters--it looks like a goddamned feather!

(Not faulting you for having missed my post, by the way. My initial remark was playful.)

All good. How long ago was that post? Everyone posts such obscure findings. I was looking at any cars with beach pattern seat inserts and the USA throws out so many trims, but still needle in a haystack trims. Good stuff.

Y'know that Chevrolet Corvette Rondine that was designed by Pininfairna? And how there were only two of 'em? I saw one of them in Greenwich this past Sunday, apparently at a dealership that also had a Porsche Carrera GT and a Ferrari F40 out front.

1992 GMC Sonoma GT--the Syclone's younger, naturally aspirated 2WD sibling that was actually produced in lower volume--803 compared to 2998. Sonoma GTs were outfitted by Production Automotive Services much like the high performance Syclones and Typhoons, and while they weren't nearly so performance oriented as the former, they did sport higher output and better handling than the standard Sonoma.

I think one of these would be neat updated with a mildly reworked EcoTec 4.3 V6 (LV3) from a late model GM fullsize pickup, which starts out with more power than the SyTy's turbo 4.3.

Wholly unnecessary photoshop.

Also how does one post a Cardin package Javelin and not show the interior?
