Richard 'Hamster' Hammond, does hold a National level racing licence (it has been mentioned on Top Gear a number of times) and has competed in a number of Club level events, but nothing serious to the best of my knowledge.

I know taht. Especially the very memorable Citroen 2CV race he entered where the gear box kept sliding forward. But what I was trying to say was none of them are ex-touring car racers, F1 racers (ok, stig did but he isn't exactly a presenter) or even ex-superbikes/moto GP.

Damn good stuff, jeremy clarksons a good driver, but it's funny how he doesn't know how anything works, just how good things are, and he's usually right

Dunsfold, in Surrey. It's about 20 miles from my house. One day I'll get tickets for the programme and go down there. When I get round to it.

The letters page in the Top Gear Magazine when the killed off the first Stig was full of people complaining about ethics and suchlike. The following month's letter's page was full of people explaining why the previous month's complainers were stupid.

I'm with the second month's writers.

I know what you mean The Ford GT imo should be sub zero. What could be uncool about a reborn roadgoing LeMans winning legend! I think its just based on the people who drive them JC has/is getting a ford GT and that makes it uncool. This came from an audience member and all, including JC agreed.
