Just an odd thing that just popped into my melon.

I can't think of a single race where I've ever raced against the "Storm V12" (or whatever it is).

Now, on a barely related topic, anyone actually find that thing useful? I personally vote that the most useless car in the game.

I wish i could buy it, because the only way to get it is a endurance race, and its not a garenteed win.

For a v12 automobile, its slow as molasses.
Even in the gt2 game, the car was slow and basically useless.

I agree that it is useless though

Hmm... I'm gonna have to fire up GT3 and take a look again. That is a possibility.

Bah - you aren't missing much. It's slow, heavy, very prone to understeer.

Much like the Jag XJ220 (or whatever it's called).

Errrrrr you can buy it, and although its not as fast a a 787b it still handles miles better than the bloody falcon Xr8. If you get it while your doing some of those 10 race series in amature its very usefull

Ditto.

The thing's ugly too... the porportions are all wrong, and the old-fashioned rear end doesn't work too well with the swoopy front.

As far as proportions go, its about as messed up and hideous as the Chevy Monte Carlo. Plus the paint must have been applied by a blind quadriplegic because its nasty.

I like the Lister Storm V12. It's one of the few british race cars in GT3. It's paintwork is all right too. What doesn't please me is that the car weighs several hundred kilos more in the game than it actually does in real-life.....

Heh I rembember seing it at silverstone racing against an oreca viper for first until the engin blew up doh!

And it is actually allot heavier for some odd reason. It was in gt2 and it kick ass like no tommorow. It just seems sluggish in comparison to the gt2 version

Yeah, it can be bought from the car dealer for 1,198,000 Cr. In the N/A version of the game, anyway...

As for the styling... well, if you ask me, it looks like the result of trying to make a Mustang look like an NSX. :P

Well I gotta say I enjoy racing that V12 Beast, though it could go on a diet

The syling is wIcKeD :rotfl:

Why is the -in game- Lister 338 kg heavier than its real life 1100 kg counterpart??

For us Americans that's about 743.6 lbs heavier!!!!!!!!!

Because no European/American car is allowed to be faster than the Japanese cars. That thing is ahelluvalot better looking in real life than it is in the game, too.

You have managed to insult molasses and useless stuff in two sentences.
The car looks like it was driven thru an UGLY forest filled with UGLY trees, and somehow felt compelled to hit each and every one of those trees. With that much ugly on one car it could at least be fast. :thatsodd:
TR7 + Bradley GT kit = Lister Storm
Sorry for those of you who own TR7's or Bradleys and feel insulted :D by my attempt at humor.

I am neutral on the car's looks and handling. I have not driven it, and probably never will on GT3. I have raced against it in the past, but it makes you wonder why this car seems to only compete on the Amateur Level, and not the Pro....

In my first game I got the V12 Storm in the endurance. The car is useless for higher purposes. I got smoked against a Calibra, even fully tuned.
