Soccer is GREAT. The Lister is only good because of the Soccer sponsership. Otherwise, the car is less than pretty. It's a fairly quick platypus on wheels.:D

Stop dissing the car man. I mean I dont care about the looks but the Lister Storms has won the Britsh GT several times beating Vipers, corvettes, marcoses, tuscans, cerberas, ferraris, Speed 12`s so there!

Whoooo!

I wouldn't say its the most useless car but I just used it for endurance racing or for fun something to go up against them annoying paganis they take the piss

I waz gonna go buy that car but now i will think twice coz if its heavy then nooo way, but its design keeps on pushing me to buy it ,but whats the cars performance on the test circuit, if it can exceed 240mph it'll do me fine enough.

<shrug> Just buy it, tour around with it, and if you don't like it, don't save it.

Now, I like the look of the car (maybe not the one in GT3 per say) but I found it just to be one heavy, bloated beast. I don't spend alot of time on the test track - Ok, I never run on the test track so I couldn't tell ya. I just had troubles getting around virtually any corner with the beast.

Y2Tuscan has it right. The Storm kicks butt for the Lord in real life. It's simply that in GT3 they've seen fit to use the road car and call it the race version.

No its the race car all right but they added PD`s invisable concrete block software onto that car making it very heavy and crappy to drive. I have the feeling that they did this to the tickford because those cars seem to handle very simmilarly. The storm was great in gt2 it was one of my all time fav cars in gt2.

Y2Tuscan, I know it looks like the race bodied version from GT2 but the specs seem a much better match to the road car than any I've seen for the current racer.

I'm fairly convinced that the developers didn't have access to the specs for the Lister Storm Racing car that's been running in the British GT Championship of late so they just used the data they could get on the road car. The weight, HP, dimensions etc are just too similar for it to be either a mistake or a coincidence.

By the way, did you get down to Silverstone the other week to see the Storm in action? It did pretty well, coming second to the Saleen S7 by only 7 seconds - and that was with the bonnet missing after it and the Speed 12 had a coming together exiting Copse Corner! The poor old 12 didn't fair so well as it blew the cylinder head gasket a couple of laps later (probably as a result of the impact).
