10 years ago The Sunday Cup racing series was created on GT5. Using only Lotus products it ran for 5 seasons with some official support from Lotus, including prizes and 3 members visiting the Lotus factory in Hethel. It continued on GT6 and also branched into other leagues by forming SCAR , Sunday Cup Affiliated Racers which entered and had success in the first GTPlanet endurance series.
Now we are back for a one off race at Spa Francorchamps where it all began 10 years ago. As there are no Lotus models GTS we will be using the below car and settings.
Car. 1972 Alpina A110s
POWER 250 BHP
WEIGHT 800 KG
MAX SPEED 147 MPH SET BY ONLY ADJUSTING THE MAX SPEED ON FULLY CUSTOMISABLE GEAR BOX.
SUSPENSION FULLY LOWERED. NOTHING ELSE.
Race Date. Sunday February 6th 20.30 GMT
Laps 24
Time of day. Noon
Tyres RH and RM pit stop required and tyre change.
Damage heavy
Tyres 4 fuel 2
Spaces are limited as there are already a lot of original Sunday Cuppers signed up.
