The Ten Character rule

Ok, I just tried to post a reply to a thread with :

And it said I have to post a reply with more than ten characters.

*edit* Duh! I just realised, it obviously does not include the characters inside of the tags. Sorry. Close this thread if you like (unless there is some other reason).


*edit2* Hang on, I managed to post the reply, but not using the 'Quick Reply' box. Does the 10 character rule only apply to the QR box?

It certainly does apply to the QR box. Certainly my least favourite feature of V6.

Yes, it applies to both, I was just responding to the question about the quick reply. And no, characters inside tags don't count toward your character limit.
