There are 3 types of X1; the S.Vettel model (level 35 B spec or Bronzing the Vettel Challenge), the Carbon Prototype (Gold at vettel challenge), and the coloured one (the one you can purchase at level 40 or by getting Silver at the challenge)

I got my S.Vettel X1 the hard way, via the Vettel Challenge (With a DS3 controller nontheless). As for the other two X1 types, are they worth going for considering I already have the S.Vettel X1?

I would say no.
Engine and peformance are the same on all 3 X1, so as long as you have one, you're good.

If you want all the cars ingame and get the perfect garage, you will have to buy a G25 and work your ass to gold the Vettel event.

Anyway, congrats on getting it the hard way with the DS3.
I still need to do Suzuka, but I'm still few seconds off.

That challenge was hard as hell, it took many tries and hours of frustration to finally complete it, but I knew the reward was worth it. Not to mention I didnt know about the level 35 B-spec method at the time I was doing this challenge.
Doing that challenge really paid off though, the X1 overlaps even le man cars pretty easily in only a couple laps, and in the hands of B-Spec Bobs, they win races with ease even if they are at low levels and/or their strength bars are down.

Winning the X1 via the challenge also feels alot more rewarding than simply grinding to level 35 B-Spec which is an AFK activity

I wasnt trying to show off the fact I have an X1, I was just wondering whether the other two X1s are worth the effort.

It is worth it. Not only for the other x1´s but even more for the xp you get.

And it will severely increase the size of your e-penis.

You can gold with a controller. It's been documented here in just the last few days. I remember something about "active steering" being on or used (whatever, I've never messed with it). He actually said bronze was real easy with his setup.

I'm close enough to LVL35 that I'm just going to push through to that for now. I'll work on golding the challenges and whatnot after B-Spec is over.

I'd say the dealership version is the best... the Red Bull livery looks tacky to me. I know they're genuinely involved in all that stuff but slapping it on the X1 stinks of cheap advertising. I want mine in stealth black.

No it hasn't, you can !!!PROBABLY!!! GOLD Monza with a controller, but that's about as far as that train will take you.

For me to believe that I would need to see video, with him doing it with a controller, with the camera viewing his T.V. as well.

I'm laughing pretty hard right now.
Did you even try that challenge ? or do you just plan on getting the X1 by letting your dumb Bob driving while you're sleeping ?

Cause bronze is nowhere near easy, even with active steering setup on mild, and gold with a DS3 is just a dream, since you spend half you time adjusting your position on the track and loosing precious seconds.

This, as many of us know from hours and hours of playing. This game was really not meant to be used with the DSC. The cars are very twitchy. Lots of under steer/over steer using a DSC at high speeds. I often see that many of the cars can't even make sharp turns without going into the grass/sand/dirt. Not matter how slow I take the corner. Driving this X1 is really insane at high speeds using the DSC. So very easily put into the wall and very hard to control in curves.

No I haven't ever driven an X1. And yeah, I plan on letting my B-spec guy win mine while I'm sleeping.

I already said someone else made the claim. Why would it matter my in game status?

Are you rocking 100% golds? If not then you probably aren't qualified to claim it's impossible. Just sayin.

Monza paid 600k+ for bronze, 600k+ for silver, and 900k+ for gold. That's 2.1 mil exp per track. I've jumped from a 30 to a lvl 34 by getting 2 gold and a silver. The last gold should bump me up to 35!

Specs are the same, it depends on if you want a changable number (for silvering) or the bare carbon X1 (gold).

That Redbull livery is very similar to what is on there f1 car's. I don't see how it is cheap or tacky at all.
