i thought about something, what if PD made DLC packs based on Top Gear challenges. I got the idea from TheDrummingKing's entry in the photoshop competition. The DLC would include Top Gear challenges like: Make a Avantime faster than an Evo, make a police car, and the commercial van challenge. It would include road trips like: Amazons to the Pacific, Africa, Romania, Switserland and North America. Point to Point stages based on the road trips would be nice. imagine driving down the transfagarsan highway or stelvio pass. It would make GT5 the best driving game ever:)
 
I think it would be boring (to me).
I'd like to see more cars and real tracks, that's it. I'd like more complete racing series.
 
A cool (and very involved) DLC idea would be EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operator Course) where it puts you in different police cars from around the world and has you doing slalom challenges and chase like challenges.

For example, it puts you in a Crown Victora, which is a big heavy car, and then maybe the next challenge could put you in a BMW, and round it off in a Carbon Motors concept.

It's certainly fits in the auto enthusiast theme of Gran Turismo, but is also unique in the fact that no other game has done it before. Plus it would give all those "Cops and Robbers" online lobby players some police cars to use.

Realistically, I'd take a livery editor, more race modifiable cars, and more premiums.

Some police driver training on a skidpad would be fun. They could incorperate another license test with some of these and you could earn a cool new license.
 
Try posting your idea in the DLC in GT5? thread, seeing as this will quickly turn into another wishlist thread 👍.
 
i have been making a list of all the cars created by top gear and special cars featued on top gear (U. K. and U.S.A.) for a DLC pack. that would be an awesome DLC
 
I follow your idea.. And I like it. But not for Gran Turismo. Such massive road trips require an entire game for themselfs.. And it will be out in a couple of months under the name of NFS The Run :P.. In NFS that "road trip" has a purpose. If you are to completely immitate the Top Gear challenges, it will get boring, as they are primarily made to entertain the viewer and to see, if a cheap car can make the distance under various conditions. Both of these purposes will be lost in the game.
