After the long week's long wait, I finally got my paws on the DLC cars, and the first car to try out for me was the Prius. I didn't expect much from it, but after fully tuning it and slapping on RKM's Prius Spec V TC tune on it, I realised that this is no ordinary Prius. I decided to try my luck at the Nurburgring 24HR Dream Car Championship race. Turns out it was raining, so I thought I was screwed. I was wrong. Dead wrong. I managed to literally outrun the Ford GT Test Car and XJR9 LM Race Car for nearly the whole race, zipping in and out of the corners. I only messed up twice, and beat the 2nd place racer by around 2 seconds. I'm quite shocked at how agile the Prius TC is. This sleeping beast takes a spot in my favorite cars.

How about you guys? What do you think of the DLC cars?
 
Out of all the new DLC cars, I think the one that stood out the most was the RX-7 TC. I absolutely love it. Painted mine florescent yellow and I'm currently doing the Nurburgring 4H with it. The race has been very enjoyable so far with this car, and it's quite competitive.

I'm looking forward to finishing it up in the near future and doing this same race with the other touring cars. I plan on using one of the Skylines next. 👍

And nice experience with the Prius. It may be better than I expected it to be.
 
I love my Awesome NSX Stealth, considering how much they were selling for on e-bay last year, it makes the DLC package price a steal XD

Wasn't exactly free, just a bonus for those buying DLC.


But the cars look awesome. Only have driven the R32, Mazda Roadster and RX-7 so far. Kinda wish I could put Adjustable LSD on them though.
 
I thought the Prius was a little disorienting to drive due to there only being one gear.

Love the R35 and the R32, R33 understeered for me, and the R34 wasn't memorable. I drove them all with stick set ups.

The R35 is certainly a looker with the pearlescant paint!!

Really? I found the RX7 to be too loose at Spa. It's fast, but I don't find it to have a lot of grip.


The Roadster TC though... different story. 👍
 
Only driven the Prius, and needless to say, I am impressed with it on track and from an audio/visual standpoint.
 
I took the RX-7 TC out on Laguna Seca and I agree that it was a little tail happy out of the corners, but when they fix the LSD issue that can be worked out. Still, I managed to get within a quarter second of my best lap there with the Spirit without tuning it. I know I'm gonna love it.
Also took the Jr to Kart Space II.... what blast!
 
RX-7 TC is my favorite so far but I have not driven all of them yet. The Impreza TC is good too. I test mine on Nurb and the RX-7 just eats it up.

Weird settings on the Evo TC ... sports medium tires and TC default on 1. Never saw TC default to anything other than 5 before. I set it to zero but thought it was odd.
