I'd like to see the ability to turn on and switch between high/low beams during the daytime. Currently you can only turn the lights on when the sun goes down, or use the flashers during the day.

My problem is the fact that at tracks like the Nurb 24hr, the lights aren't usable until about an hour past the level of darkness I would like to have them on. Also, in endurance races, you see many cars with their low beams on all day. Obviously wouldn't be too hard for PD to add, since it's a feature already in game

I did state this elsewhere before, but I dont think the lights are rendered correctly as far as exterior view is concerned.
I was driving a free run event last night with weather enabled, the sun was going down and it had been raining, track surface was 60% wet. I was following about 10 feet behind another car and was just seeing spray but no tail or brake lights. In real life you can see the regular tail lights of any car from far away, even through water spray, and brake lights are yet more visible. This also applies for the headlights, but I can live with that not being rendered accurately, because during races you hardly ever encounter other cars head-on.

I would say, make the lights more functional. When I use the flash high beam light in the tunnel, it doesn't make the view any clearer/brighter.

The headlights only effect tracks with dynamic lightmaps (Tracks that have time changes). Tracks that have static lightmaps only have one static source light, which is the sun.

This would really help when racing in interior view with no on-screen HUD. On some tracks at certain times of the day it is impossible to see the dash to see the rpm gauge, if you are able to turn on your running lights at all times it would make it possible to see your gauges during the day.
