The whole feeling of getting your first supercar...

That's it, in my humble opinion, no other game does that as good as GT5.

Perhaps TDU comes close in this aspect, but in GT5 sometimes its hard to save some money and when you get that damn Ferrari (at least in the early stages of the game, until level 15...) or your first Lambo you really feel special about it.

Do you guys have experienced that or its just me? Like, I've bought my 458 Italia 2 days ago and she's so special, the same with my Aston DB9, I take like 15 minutes to choose the color, looking at various angles in the shop... it's different. Going for a Lambo next

I have two supercars, but because the game doesn't when you need to rebuild the engine or restrengthen the chassis, I'm afraid to use them!

Easy car will get loose when the body gets really bad, my italia is getting there at 600 miles driven, and the engine will lose hp and changing the oil will not top it off either, engine in the italia also lasted till about 600 miles wo a hiccup but the hp is slowly dropping now.

Getting the first one in a game tho..well it is just a game but when you pick a good supercar it just means lots and lots of super fun at nurburg ring till my eyes bleed.

I'm in love with the 458 Italia!!! Its my first supercar and I love the way the tail kicks out when hammering it!! So sweet and the throttle response is amazing!!!

It will take a lot to beat that as my next car!

Get a speed 12 and stick it on a set of racing slicks...oh gosh.

True, same here...
they did this very nice, option for freaks who never crash is there to restore it after one crash. But you will feel the damage later on, like you say, around 600-1000 kms...

Now if only they moddeled the italia like in real. 10 cars already burst up into flames and the car has been recalled into Ferrari...

Some of us like that btw, and like to stick real life counterpart tyres on this game, instead of uber sticky ones...

so much grip... it runs the track like it's on rails... I'm distroying just about everything on the road. even a Enzo had a hard time keeping up on the Itallian race.

it's ridiculous.

obviously for online races I won't be using em. feels too much like cheating.

Actually all supercars seem to have a over abundant fire problem, lambos, porches, etc all have a habit of bursting into flames. Guess that is part of the mystique of owning one that it could bust into flames any second.

Had one car of mine do that, but a mechanic left his oil rag in the engine compartment go out one day hop into a store for a bit next thing i know i am being pages front desk tells me my car is on fire lol.

Oh yes it feels great. The LFA was my first and I fell in love. The acceleration was amazing and the sound was the awesome. Yup that's my baby. And the whole thing happened again when I bought my Enzo. Mmmm.

Yeah i know man, not personally though. Back in the days, my dad had a car (i wasn't even born i think), the 2002 turbo bmw... In the dealer they said that the last miles before driving home into your garage you need to be easy and calm, to let the engine cool down... In reality it was more like half an hour if you pushed the car around to much... The turbo became so hot that the second week in his posession it happend, he did drove around the town at ease to let it become cool, not enough it seemed. Just pulled on the driveway, into the garage... Our whole garage burned down that day, together with the car, and it seems that my dad wasn't alone too. Bmw forgot to say they ment let it cool down when standing still... "Just let the engine rumble for another ten minutes and it will be cool"...
After that my dad didn't trust the turbo engines until the E46D came out...

Still makes for a good story at the table..

Damn lol that's one hot turbo. Years give perspective bet it was not funny at the time. Glad noone was actually hurt, that is pretty crazy.
