WSCC is a club dedicated to providing its members with a wide selection of racing events and challenges in a competitive yet friendly environment. Our Events are held in an organized manner, hosted by knowledgeable club members in each car class and follow club racing rules.

To kick things off, here are some shots from our latest Production Cars Group N Series races. They were both wet races with 10 laps at Monza and 9 at Suzuka.

Congratulations to the 1st place winners, Cobrius in the yellow Audi TTS at Monza, & Strattwanger driving the red Subaru Impreza at Suzuka!

Two weeks ago, we had a great Endurance on our custom WSCC "road endurance"-track

Let's start with some pictures from the beginning of the race.

Sientex was not the fastest, but his car was indeed the most beautiful of all...

What do you mean by "close" racing?

What does that Honda do in a reunion of the Mazda RX-8 club? Is it the pace car?

In the beginning, it seemed that the old RX-7s wanted to show those RX-8 youngsters that they were still there.

AC Milan fans seem to be everywhere...

About a little hour later, it was getting dark and we got a tremendous final involving the three different cars engaged in the race.

The most spectacular moment was when approaching the last turn of lap 18 out of 19, the three leaders approached the braking zone "three on a row". It was clear those three drivers were going to finish on the podium, but in which order?

Some good shots here. I recommend you using mode 3 with 1/60. You should get some much better pics then.

Thanks. As these are more to document league races I tend not to get too fancy and I usually keep the shutter speed above 1/1000 for the clarity. But you are right, panning mode 3 is good - less distortion at close distance.

EDIT: Wow, ok, I stand corrected. The following race shots were almost all taken using mode 3 and 1/60. Thank you for the tip! I was definitely missing out.

WSCC – Monday 30th May - Corvette GT2 Le Mans by Night

Wow, what a doozie. I know I'm going to need some practice now that it's an official championship. Some of us had trouble taming the ZR1 dragon once the tire wear and fuel consumption hit us... and some of us didn't. Hats off to MindlessRiff for a 1-pit win!

I really liked the close up on the nose of my car, the detail on the front vent is just incredible. GT5 never ceases to amaze me with the detailing, just when you think you have seen it all you spot something else.
