I just got level 30 yesterday (after a couple of weeks break) and have started the Vettel challenge and after 8-9 hours of driving the car, i felt a considerable slack in the wheel. Anybody else noticing this? I guess one hour with the X2010 must be like 8 hours with a normal car tear & wear -wise.

Yeah, i have force feedback on maximum and with this car you really have to put some force on it.. I'm afraid of driving this car now as the warranty have expired.

Have you tried turning the FF down?

I have similar worries with my DFGT. Whenever I race with full damage, if I have a crash, limping back to the pits makes me feel my wheel is gonna fly to bits with all the vibrating. It woke my baby up the other day just from the noise of it all!

Maybe i should turn the FF down, but then it'll feel strange.. I need the FF to really feel what the car does.

I mean more the fact that if i dont get gold tonight ill break it in 20 pieces (.021 off gold in monza, and 3sec on in the ring)

The real problem with these wheels is that dead zone. Take your X2010 down the long-straight at Circuit de la Sarthe. The wheel rattling against the dead zone is horrendous. The T500 should be better off since it doesn't have that dead zone, but still. There's a reason you don't drive 300mph down country back roads. :sly:

I have the FF about 6-7 on the g25. It feels just about right there compared to my non power steering car.

I'm using a G27, but can understand your worries with the G25. After 2 races of FGT, my wheel was hot to the touch. After just golding the X2010 challenge, I found that my wheel was even hotter. I don't think these wheels, while high quality, were meant to be used at nearly 100% FFB for hours on end. (Note: My FFB is on 1 and it does nothing compared to being on 10)

Yeah my G25 gets pretty warm after long sessions. I have been considering doing some kind of fan mod. I have a couple of small SilenX fans around here somwhere.

Does anybody know if a slack in the wheel would be considered a valid warranty case? I've had the wheel more than two years, but in Norway we have laws superseding the manufacturers warranty. If a product is meant to be able to function more than two years the store will have to accept your broken product for up to five years after purchase.
