Westka Interactive passed along word that the company has filed for bankruptcy and that development on its Unreal Warfare powered action-adventure game, The Y-Project, has been halted. Though the game could hypothetically be bought during the bankruptcy process, it seems unlikely. Westka leaders cited a lack of funding from partners as the main reason behind the bankruptcy. The Y-Project was to be a multi-platform action-adventure game set on an human colony on an alien planet. The game revolved around a genetic experiment that escaped, evolved and had returned to plague the human citizens there.
