For the most part, Gran Turismo has gotten this right but the Mercedes have always stood out as vague. The Superbird, too. From all sorts of sources I have heard top speed for this car in particular. GT2 made it limit to 137 mph, but I have heard it go 160, 170, even 220--yes, a stock one-- but that is just one example. This thread is about the (possibly) many examples that go beyond (or below) the performance levels of normal.
