I had the 2010 Joey Logano #20 Gamestop CAMRY '10 (fantasy) car sitting in my garage all nice and comfy, with zero miles! Now it's gone! Yes I had saved, and yes I had the car for many days! It has been stolen!

How did I get that car? I used the 2010 BD card! Just load up the BD card again, right? Not a chance! I loaded it up again and again for over 3:00 hours and no (fantasy) car!

How can PD or Sony go in a garage and delete a car just because I got it from a BD card? I call it THEFT! They don't have the right!

Jump to conclusions much?

A car is missing and you assume PD/Sony "stole it"? Not that an odd bug or glitch removed it?
Sorry about your car, but maybe start small before going for the conspiracy theory.

edit: if you mean the 2010 Birthday ticket, I don't think you can get that car from a birthday ticket. It was a preorder car from Gamestop.

Joke right? Must be nice to have born in 2010...right?👎

That car finished 2nd last in my remote race from 2 nights ago. What's the difference?

I tried to get the Gamestop GT5 edition just to get the code, but they do not sell it in Canada. The only way I could get the car was the BD card. I traded a Level 21 card for it! Yes you can create a 2010 account and get a 2010 BD card!

For being 1 year old, your grammar and punctuation is quite impressive....

Perhaps PD removed it from the birthday database because they assumed that no one year old would be able to play GT5.

The nerve of PD for assuming such a thing. Now they have gone and offended a child prodigy such as yourself.

calm down man :)
it's a DLC car. You have to have voucher code to enter in PSN Store and then download special key-file. After that you will get this NASCAR.

Yes, it's possible to get it from BD ticket 2010 (which honestly illegal. Did u see 1 year old child playing GT5?), but it's a glitch/bug. PD simply didn't check this situation. Because of this bug, you get the car into garage, but required DLC key-file is missing. So, when you load game next time, it checks DLC key-files and if particular file is missing, car automatically get deleted from garage.
The same happens with Stealth and Chrome Line cars. If you move savefile to another PS3 where you didn't activate Stealth/Chrome cars - they just disappear from garage.

Here let me clarify...
I don't believe Sony would delete your car, hence the comment.

Yes I, as well as 99% of this community knows how to do birthday glitch. I just find it comical that you are complaining about a car you got from this.

Yes you "could" get the car from the 2010 BD ticket!

Conspiracy?? What else could it be! Gamestop found out that the precious car was being exploited with the 2010 BD card, squealed to PD to pull it from the ticket! So they can sell more games!

Oh, common... don't put scary rumors here ;)
Nobody removed it from BD ticket 2010. I can get it again and again. Just need time and some luck. But it's in vain. Car will disappear from garage upon next game loading.

This is a DLC car - Period!

What you say makes total sense, and thanks for that! However, why would the car stay in my garage for a few days then?

You're right. It's obviously the Gamestop mafia spying on your PS3. There is literally no other reasonable explanation. As we all know, this game is without glitches, flaws or bugs.

Or... as another poster suggests, it could be that you utilized an exploit to gain access to a car which you should not have had access to. A bug in the code allowed this, but when the game checked with PSN to see if you should have access to the car, it determined you should not, and the car was removed. Perhaps the latest patch has fixed the bug allowing the birthday ticket to give you the preorder card.

In short, you openly admit to using an exploit to get a car, then when it goes missing you say that Sony stole your car, and complain that you can't get it back. Which is more likely, PD fixed a bug? Or Gamestop is trying to sell more games so they got Sony to steal your virtual cars?

If somebody likes this car so much (for me NASCAR is a crap) then there is trick:
Accumulate around 10 or even 20 tickets 2010 on your account. When you will need this car, then use all these ticket - probably you will get this NASCAR within 10/20 tickets. Play with this car. When you finish, restore save with many tickets 2010 and then continue other tasks with GT5.
That's the only way to *virtually* have this car without voucher code.

That sounds like an enormous pain in the butt for a paintjob. But I guess it would work.

it will stay as long as you keep GT5 running. So, you may avoid exiting from GT5 and have this car whole time.
Upon restarting GT5 you will loose this car.

It gets deleted because it's suppose to be in your game data.

But as it's not, because you didn't download it as DLC, it cannot be verified so it gets deleted.

It is not this so called theft...

Thanks for clearing this up for me guys!

Any one out there want to give me the DLC??:sly: You will be my best friend EVER!:)
