Sorry if this is an old repost, but I have this picture on my computer from a year or so ago. Has anyone seen this before? I'm curious how they did it and what they used for an engine. Looks like some sort of lawnmower engine to me... with a small turbo and a shot of nitrous. hmm.... I have video of it somewhere too, racing (and beating) a Trans Am. When I find it I'll post it.

That's a fake, and the T/A vid was a fake, too... jesus christ, i can't believe someone actually fell for it.

Look at that nitrous bottle, it's nothing more than a soda bottle...

let him have some fun with the picture....=)

the front wheels are way too small....tehy need to be slightly bigger, or else the front end will scrape the ground

reminds me of the super low ricer cars that can't go over speed bumps at all.....LOL

Believe it or not, it is your choice, but that picture is about 90% accurate. The Nos isn't functional, but the rest is. The turbo works and the Intercooler does as well. It does scrape a little bit, but it isn't too much of a problem, because when you step on it, it flexes a little bit in the middle and you can clear a little more with it higher in the front. I would have liked a little bigger wheels up front though, turning was very difficult.

PS. If you haven't noticed, I rode one.

Hey Famine? Can you tell me where to Get NOS? I just saw 2F2F....

AO

i just got one thing to say about that

if that things a lawnmower, my grass is just screaming for it. imagine, the mowing done in 3 minutes HEAVEN

or how about a turbo charged dish washer and laundry machine?! oh, and a turbo charged DRYER! that would be quite useful!

lmao, that thing reminds me of the episode of King of the Hill where Dale puts nos on his lawnmower

True, but how could you put a turbo on something that doesn't have an engine.

Excuse me for my 'ignorance.' Someone who I thought new a good deal about cars showed me it, maybe he was playing a trick on me. But yeah, now looking at it I don't see any feed lines for the n2o, but the turbo looks like it could be hooked up to the exhaust, through the IC, and back to the intake, so I guess I just shouldn't be so trusting? Other than the nitrous, it looks like it could work. Don't take me for some kid who just saw fast and the furious and thinks you can stick some NOS on something and make it "go fast." I thought it was cool?

I'm only going to say this once; NOS is not the way to go when upgrading your car. more permanent fixtures like NA kits, Turbo, superchargers. NOS is more expensive in the long run and doesn't have as premanent an affect as the other stuff...

Its got more bang for your buck though; a nitrous setup will cost you what, $5-700?

that would shatter if u ride it. look how the intercooler is bolted on. it sloppy...... if it were a real thing.

Im pretty sure it is(the real thing), i have seen it in a couple of my car magazine and it was built by a workshop in australia

And what, refills are free? Bud, a filled tank 100 shot system usually costs about $1600 or more. That, and it only lasts for a moment. Plus, if your using Nos and ride it for longer then a few seconds, you'll blow the head right off your block, because of the immense pressure change.

matt, that last sentence... I strongly disagree. Big engine's can handle a big shot and be perfectly fine. Sure, using a 100 shot on your B16 is really, really stupid, but on a small block you'll be fine. On a big block you'll be even better. If a few seconds means more than 15, sure, you'll start having problems, but 15 seconds is a LONG time with your throttle all the way open.
And nitrous is a lot cheaper than a clean-running turbo system. Much cheaper. The possibilities with turbo's are far greater than nitrous though. But nitrous to spool a turbo, then you're talking.

An LS1 can take a 200shot stock. Nitrous is just the same as any other power adder, too much, without beefing up the engine, will screw it all up.
