I miss the tow trucks from San Andreas: I could use it to tow a car i cant open doors on.

I miss the customizing: theres a few things i want to fix up.

I miss being able to hook a tractor to a trailer.

I miss being able to fly anything i could get my hands on.

I miss the wide range of cloths: I had CJ in some Phat cloths

I miss having a Dang Garage.

- parachute
- greater range of clothes
- monster truck
- tuning garages
- car transporters as moveable ramps
- bicycles
- army (tanks)
- etc.

Yeah, they seem to have missed out a lot of things out that were so cool in previous games. In fact ,as good as the game is, I feel all these exclusions bring the game down and I don't think the 'perfect' reviews it got were completely justified. I wish some of these would make a return - in free DLC would be nice!

I actually miss an actual garage as well. That home in Albany (with the Maverick in the back) could have been a perfect safe house.

I miss the the country from San Andreas, I loved spending heaps of time out there on a Sanchez. Seems just like last week I was playing San Andreas... actually it was.

There's still a whole lot in GTA4 which keeps me very happy though.

House in albany with a maverick in the back?? man i gotta look around the houses more..

I miss parachutes - With so many very tall buildings in GTA4 it seems a pity that if you're stuck up one of them with no chopper to get you down then the only option is a long freefall to doom.

Car tuning would be good, with the improved graphics and more true-to-life cars it would have been the perfect showcase for changing the wheels, adding bodykits, improving performance and handling etc.

Some countryside and more areas to off-road would be good too, it's one of the biggest gaping holes in IV. And all the cars to go with it - the BF Injection, monster truck, quad, sandrail etc.

Finally, the option to run businesses again, make money out of them, buy them - even specific things which would be a good addition, such as stealing cars for an auto business and then seeing them in the showroom in a different colour ready to be sold soon after...

-Storyline without a major hole in it
???

As others have said, i miss having a safe house with a helicopter pad. I miss the flamethrower. I miss fixed wing aircraft (especially the jet). I miss the parachute because i used to love jumping from a plane and guiding myself into the swimming pools without opening the shute :sly:

Thats all, i'm not going to lose any sleep over any of it.

so i wonder if the creaters read this stuff and take it into consideration.

GTAIV is alot shorter than San Andreas, has cut back on tones of activities and it just doesnt stand up to it.

How ever. the graphics in IV are HOT!!!!.

I like the cab feature, Police computer and the fact that my car doesnt explode when flipped upside down.

I like GTAIV but crave San Andreas.

Variety in terrain
Real Estate

A lot of these things wouldn't require much in the way of programming (not compared to a new island or something.) A lot of these I can see as being DLC.

I miss.... GOURANGA!

In all seriousness I actually miss GTA1. It was just so much fun.

I didn't really like that in GTA IV you were making money, which was supposedly to help your cousin, but it was never actually used in the game. Basically you had all the money and you couldn't do anything with it except buy weapons.

it should just be the graphics and physics engine, along with the cars and the characters, but in GTA:SA.

I hope the next GTA isnt in liberty city....

Here is hoping GTA Next is in Vice City...

While I didn't care for SAs story, I did like alot of SA's features-- a shame they didn't carry over more stuff....

Vice City was my favorite GTA because the environment, weather, basically the whole atmosphere was great. I HATED the orange sunset/smog in SA, it was just a less enjoyable environment for me.

I loved the 80's atmosphere, the fact that the game was CLEARLY impersonating scarface was a bonus too. I loved cruising along the seafront, in a loud, flashy sports car and a purple suit, listening to 'kids of america'

(whislt being shot at by the 'feds, for gunning down the sunbathers:scared:)

I think R* have already confirmed it won't be in any previous GTA environment, and that includes Vice City, Liberty City, San Andreas and London. I'm ready for a change in environment now. Liberty has been done to death, and the others were nice for one game but some variety would be good.

Ideally, we'd have the size of SA and the new stuff (graphics, gameplay etc) from IV, but in a completely new place. I'd quite like to see somewhere in the UK (obviously) but I wouldn't complain if it were based in France/Italy/Japan/Russia.

That said, I doubt Russia would appear as the characters would be too similar to those in IV.

I wouldn't like to see the game leave the USA. I enjoy the games set in cities and places I'm already familiar from movies and TV and I like the parodies of politics, popular culture, etc. on the radio stations and adverts. None of that would work anywhere else. GTA:Madrid or GTA:Kiev just doesn't seem at all right.

I think Vice City would be cool. Do the same as they did with GTAIV, completely redesign and city and make it bigger, but still have it based on Miami and with new characters.

the question is where. big as SA but a familier place to explore? were doing NY (liberty city) we did Miami (Vice City) we Cali/Vagas SA. Where next.

How about being able to fly to Hawaii from Chicago??

or better yet, since they always speak of the other places in the game, link them to be able to travel from Vice City - SA.

I would say somewhere like St. Louis and/or Chicago. Maybe Tokyo as a far away place.

Most of the things mentioned here, I would have liked to have seen return from the previous GTA games. Particularly garages and property (I hate lossing a car because an A.I driver knocks it out of the yellow box). The tank was also a lot of fun in Vice City. You could really rack up some speed down the main road on the second island. :)

However, I have to admit I don't really care about the lack of clothes and car customisations. I wouldn't object to them being in the game, as long as they were optional or only affected the game in such a way that clothes do in GTA IV. That is, having to change to suit when meeting an important figure for example. Minor things.
