After waiting for a long time, I am going to buy GT6.
I couldn't buy it earlier, because I am too busy with my study...
It would be nice if you guys told me a few things that are handy to know before starting the game.

You start off having to buy a Honda Fit RS for the "tutorial"
This thread will be extremely helpful as money is properly hard to come by without grinding and so you don't buy a car you can win.
Personal suggestion 3 cars that should serve you well are the Honda Fit, A Mitsubishi Evo of some description and the LCC Rocket.
Also watch out for the broken physics on MR cars that is all :)

Resist the urge to throw the controller at your TV.

It will force you to drive the 1st race before you can configure the controls and aids, it will stop the race every 10sec. and annoy you with stupid messages telling you how to drive.

It will force you to buy a car no sane player would buy as his first car.

You will feel like Seb.V. because the AI lets you win every race no matter how bad you drive.
Makes you feel like you are really good at driving because all mission and license tests are very easy to do in gold.
(Skid recover is also forced on and TC is default on to)

Edit:
MR cars are NOT broken, they are the best cars in the game actually.

I read in another thread that in audio settings, you should set it to theater instead of living room to get the most out of the sounds.

Important, if you find the races to easy to win don't use a weaker car or worse tires !

It will only make the opponents slow down even more and turn it all into a farce.

Use a car comparable to what the best AI driver has and use the same or one step below their tires.
(They seem to use always the best allowed, you can check in the replay on the timing page)

If you are close behind the leader at 50% of the race distance he will speed up and give you a proper race.
(They drive slower than they can in the beginning to let you catch up).
If you are not behind him at 50% he will start to slow down more until you pass him.

Don't waste your money on any tuning, get a better car instead.

Complete Goodwood, missions and license test always as soon as possible for the money and price cars.

Thanks for the replies guys!
Those are some helpful tips. :)

Every time I post or ask something here everyone is kind and helpful.
This is a great forum!
