things i wanna see in gran turismo 4

heres what i would like to see in gt4.

1.raceing modifications put back (they were great in the first 2 games why did they take them out of gt3,anyway i want them back)

2.better grapics( witch i know is possible)

3.i think they should also put all the tracks from the first 3 games + more.

4.ok this one is a must. BETTER MENU MUSIC.gt had good menu music gt2s was wierd and gt3s also wierd so better menu tunes are a must.

5.better lights in the cars(i.e. headlights should shine on other cars and the road more.

6.weather effects like snow,rain(i know gt3 had rain but it wasent raining while you were driveing)mud,hail,slush and more.

7.more customization (i.e. more rims and you should be able to put wings on cars too)

8.GT online ahh...i cant wait for that.....i hope its online. and if it is all you guys better look out!

9. now i would like to adress the damage issue

personaly damage isnt a deal to me but if there were to put damage on the cars it would have to be very real every pannel should have a diffenent way of moveing like real life.


10. more difficult computer drivers (there just too easy!!)

thats all for now,really i want the next gt game to be so real so fun it just blows everyone away and turn the haters of gran turismo into people who love gran turismo (like me i live and breath gran turismo!)

also what do you want to see in gt4??
 
umm... too many increases and you will loose out in other areas... like maybe the number of cars :/

You DO realize that you're going +100MPH most of the time, and that headlights don't help too much at those speeds because you're overdriving them, right?

And how do you expect to see the rims on your car when you're IN your car? And wings would affect the driving style of the car, not realistic with PD's engine they're using for the GT series

They're working on it, but they're having some problems with some of the makers

I would like to see racing modifications. more cars, more tracks, no damage, no oil

thats about all i could think of right now. as far the as the music, you personally may not like the music but its not if you like the style of music or not its how well it fits into the game and GT3 music really fits into the game...i wish you could turn up the volume of the music.

more in depth rally would be nice. i wouldn't mine having the game split into two dvds like arcade one one and simulation on the other
 
i know what your saying about the music but it just seems a little corny like evevator music they should have music like in gt1. i am not talking about the raceing music im talking about the menu music just to clear that up:odd:
 
Add-On Wings would be nice. Like if you had a car with no wing it would have no adjustable downforce, but with a wing you could adjust the down force. The wing would also increase your cars handling. Maybe you could replace a stock wing with a lighter wing? and no, i'm not talking about RICE! I despise rice.
I wish in rally your car could flip over. and as someone (who i dont remember) said, "Your car could turn over only to be flipped back over by some crazy spectators!" :lol:
 
I would like to see more life like rally racing with timed stages ect.
Also there should be more customization with the cars, for example exterior mods such as body kits and wings to increase aerodynamics, and after one buys the car one should be able to change the color of the car in the future.

I would like to be able to change my cars settings from the main simulation. I.E. Without having to enter a race
 
GT4 will become my new favorite game if.....

They don't screw up too much from GT3, and

They add back at least a few of the Muscle cars. I miss my Dodge Charger.

You can do that when you run tests from your garage.


Addressing the paint option: I fear they won't include this because we'd want too many customized paint options, and with all of those options available, we'd likely have to create them ourselves, not relying on Sony to do that for us. That itself isn't the problem. The problem lies in multiplayer. People without broadband would have a very hard time downloading those custom paint jobs if people come in and out of the races all the time. Still, it would be a nice option to have paint jobs, and if we only had a limited selection, you go to the car shop and get it painted after it's washed or something...
 
I would like to see:

1. HP limits unlocked when you complete 100% first time.
2. A slightly easier S license.
3. Difficulty slider.
4. More endurance events. The options are endless and I am not suggesting we have 6,728 endurance events but here are some possibilities:

At each track you could have the following endurance events:

Lightweight
FF
FR
MR
4WD
NA
Turbo
Non tuned
Modified Road Cars
JGTC
LM
F1
4 cyl
6 cyl
8 cyl
12 cyl
Nissan
Honda
Boxer
Rally Cars
Simulation tyres
Japanese
European

5. Novelty events. (some of which would need finetuned aI) some stolen from other games

Furthest distance before hitting a wall
Furthest distance before tyres all red
Single Car event knockout ie all 5 ai drivers and you in identical cars. Last place on each lap is knocked out.
1 on 1 - winner take losers car.
Long jump
Skid pan license test

I meant that you could change the cars color to one of the others colors available in the car dealer after you purchase the car.
 
the music problem is easy. let people put their cds in the ps2. or at least make the psx 'rip' a track off the cd and use it. if it compressed it to mp3 it would take up about 3 or 4 megs, easily enough to store in the ram

but in addition to all the points mentioned already, i want to see a louder dump valve ! :D and everything customisable. and by that i mean sounds, loudness of the engine, opponents engines, tyre screaches, skid marks, everything.

The paint thing would be easy to do if they did a type of system copying Project Gotham's. You could enter a menu and scroll down the basic colors to the one you want and buy it (you dont buy in Gotham but you get the idea). It would be like buying new wheels in GT3.
 
Oh, and you should add to that list up top, "Easier License Tests".
 
oh yeah i forgot one important thing... im sure im not the only person wanting this, but a button similar to that in auto modellista that says "get all the best parts" so you wouldn't have to go through all the menus when buying a new car that you want to supe up to the max...

Why?

Yes they seem hard until you do them but once you know how they are actually quite easy.

I dont' want all the game to be easy and no I am not one of the best drivers on here. I would suggest average at best.
