Not asking features to Podi, just what WE can do to make all better.

*was just thinking of things that might make the community tighter together and improve online enjoyment for most users and even organizers.
Feel free to add your ideas!

(all in random order, some may be feasible some might not)

A massive online schedule of all the GTP series day by day and hour by hour so that any driver wishing to hop in a race has the chance to do so in a blink

a list of leagues and day/hours they meetup weekly

a list of users wishing to livestream events

a list of photographers or race journalists

a "grid fillers" club (users willingly to help filling grids in series but not wishing to signup permanently in one) that can help event organizers having problem getting a good grid organizing more intersting races

a "driving tutor" club a group of drivers willingly to devote a bit of their time trying to help newbies or slower drivers to improve in general or specific tracks.

i have some ideas that would involve gtp as a webpage but let's set them aside :D

what do you think or suggest?

that topic i never saw it before! i love it and i bookmarked it! :)

Your first two suggestions have been somewhat realized already by @hasslemoff. The other ideas are good ones if people are willing to put in the time. 👍

The only problem lately is there seems to be so many that start then go within a week or stop halfway through, so I only really check about once a month now and if there is no date or time when it says OPEN I never really check back to see if that race series is finally open, using the DRAFT, OPEN, FULL, FINISHED tags properly is a good help to everyone looking.

Do you guys think that if i would create a GTP driving academy Someone would join or ask for help?

I would gladly donate one or more hours per week to help a newbie in need...

Anyone would do the same?

I've seen it tried before with varying success. It's something I've thought about doing too and it could be a really good resource if done correctly. Whether people would participate, I can't say.

Leaderboards
better payouts for online races
option to turn off collisions
option to add AI cars to fill out the grid

A driver safety rating or and/or licensing system. Until there is some kind of consequence for banging into other people, GT online will always be a random crapshoot until you spend enough time to find people to race with that are clean. Then you have to hope they are online as much as you and looking for the same kind of racing as you.

The career mode should take stats of your crashes. There should also be rules of racing that are learned and enforced as part of the various driving tests on the way to your licenses. Those with clean scores are allowed to race with others with clean scores. Once your clean percentage increases, you will be allowed in progressively cleaner rooms.
The on-line room owner can choose to have the stats enforced or not. Almost like setting up a room for friends.
Only those with don't abide by the rules of racing and are involved in a number of crashes will not be allowed.

Practice sessions would have the racing rules set, but would not count crashes and off track against you.

Because PD is working with FIA, I thought racing rules would be part of GT7 for sure.
