Hi all. One of my dad's friends is coming over from overseas to stay with us in Canada for like 2 weeks and it just so happens that the ChampCar race at Edmonton will be during this time.

Was thinking about going there because I've seen ChampCar on TV and it looked pretty interesting and exciting and I know my friend would probably like it too.

What was the race last year at Edmonton like? Is it a decent track?

Lastly, has anyone here been to a ChampCar race before? They worth going to? The ticket is about $120 canadian I think (the ones I found) and they say you see the whole track cause it's kinda flat. It's not really that much money, but it does take me like 3 to 4 hours to get to Edmonton.

Appreciate any opinions.

I would HIGHLY recommend going to the ChampCar race. ChampCar racing is probably some of the best racing on the planet. (as all spec series' SHOULD BE) The event is more than just the three days of speed, there is so much to do it's mind blowing.

Edmonton is one of the best tracks on the CCWS schedule! Last year's race was great!
