I'm progressing nicely through the game and i'm coming up to the Polophony Digital Cup. Well....arrrg i don't have a clue where to begin looking for the best stock car in the game. too much time, too much effort. soo i was wondering what everyone else used on this cup, and what the best non tuned car is???????

so

1. The car you used
2. The best non-tune car in the game (IYO of course)

I ran a Honda NSX Type S-Zero.

The key to this series is tyres - if you run a decent car on superhard tyres you will have a significant tyre grip and wear advantage.

My little Honda and I won each race very comfortably.

As to best non-tuned car, there would be a wide range of opinion. I haven't won the Speed 12 yet, and that always gets a lot of mail when this question is asked.

I'll drink to that, the whole post!

I keep thinking of the horrible gold wheels I put on that poor Honda...

Dude, that's NASTY! What color was the car? Mine was a dark gray, with chrome 5 point wheels. It was supa-fly (:

Er, it was, um, gold.

I'd just changed the rims on the 787B to a more garish set of gold wheels and it seemed a good idea at the time.

Trust me - every other wheel in the garage is a nice slim spoked silver design...

I like a good 50/50 open space to spoke distribution with a low odd number of spokes in either black or chrome.

Gee ... if that's not a generality ....

Well, it gives you plenty of choice!

I'm a big fan of slim 5 spoke silver alloys.

I'm a big fan of the wheels on the big blue super Sube.

If you check the Liberty B4 (the one without the rear wing) it looks almost exactly the same as my car, with the same wheels.

The only differences are my thing has a rear wing, no air scoop on the bonnet, and the headlights and front airdam are a little bit different (ours is the MY02 model, with the revised headlights).

It's pretty freaky seeing it in replays - especially when the girlfriend watches you put the family truckster into a wall at 180kmh!!

Ha ha! Just so long as there aren't any real world instant replays (: Hey, that makes a good thread ... wrecks.

Ahhh - dual airbags and four star crash worthiness.

Still, haven't put one into the scenery yet - no plans to try. I've had a couple of big ones off pushbikes and that was plenty.

The car I used was the Zonda C12s with hard tires. This car is too fast for this series and you'll have no problem creaming the opposition. If you want a serious battle try using the MAzda RX-8 or the Nissan Z concept!

I agree with GVX. my statement on the polyphony digital cup is:

"Why use Honda, when you can fly with Zonda" :p

I only tried it before I learnt you could change tyres - the major issue with the Viper was ferocious tyre wear, but I imagine the superhard tyres would address that.

Yeah the Zonda is a good choice but the best car is the Speed12 which is also to fast for this series, hard competition would be using a Supra, RX-7, any Z car and a PINK VITZ  Just kidding about the Vitz.

what the hell does "IYO" stand for? :thatsodd:

the car to use in that series (what i used) was the Jaguar XJ220...not exactly a Consumers Digest winner but it will work....

another option would be the Vanquish.....great car and it can be won fairly easily in the British GT champ.

but the best car in the game (non-tuned) is TVR Cerbera Speed 12

if ya need any more help with the tournament just let me know, because I am 100% done baby!!!

Woooaaah! :thatsodd: Zonda handles effin' great! What are you talkin' about? I came off of F1 cars to the Zonda C12 and I was happy with it. What's wrong with you people? :thatsodd:
