Thinking about upgrading to SSD

I got a good deal on a 240GB SSD, so I'll probably be putting that into my PC and swapping out the 128GB from my PC into my PS3.

What's the safest way to transfer from my 80GB to the 128GB SSD? Last thing I want is to lose my save files just before the holidays.
