is so so good with a wheel, it just clicks and suddenly the niggles that threatened to spoil the most anticipate game in PS3 history fade to mere annoyances.
I have, until now, never owned a wheel and never considered just how good they could be. My first race with the wheel in place was a rally on the Tuscany circuit and what a baptism of fire that was! However, it was also an absolute joy and as day turned to night i suddenly realised i was playing a pretty special racing sim.
When everything clicks and you tame a wild beast of a car through a series of snaking turns this game feels so right, it such an achievement to put into code the feel of driving, this game does it so elegantly that you just have to admire it.
Yes there are things that could have been better but for sheer playability and racing fun this game is, to me, sheer genius.
