The first shot of the Stratos looks like it would be the perfect image for when the news reports the story of his death, lol.
 
dustdriver- your second one is another classic "the car is behind you dood.. WATCH OUT!!" haha..
 
Here's how i do it.
Go into photomode and drive a round.
Then you have to press select just when the car is about to drive over the point where the photographer stood.
Pick your favorite angle and take the picture. In stead of saving the picture, go back to the previous and the photographer will be at his starting position.
Now you can save the picture.
Hope you understand what i just explained.

Never been able to manage to run these guys over when have been on the rally tracks. Unfortunately though I don't like to rally too much. I don't know why but to me it just doesn't seem as fun as the other versions of the game. I was able to get about 2 feet from the guys on the tracks a few times before though.
 
Well I got someone his leg, but not more :)

take a look at the photographer in the pic. he is deadset taking photos of something else behind that barrier
