i say damn and hell, but unless jordan tells me othewise, curse words like he f word aren't allowed. if you get asterisks it means you aren't allowed to use the word. if i discover someone trying what arsehole has done, i will delete his whole post.
 
no, don't try to slip in the full word. if you are flaming just pm the person you have issue with. as for short hand versions of the word, i don't know yet, i'll wait for jordan to decide. if you type fuc i'd not do anything because that's not covered by the filter.
 
or fuk. i'm just looking to not have the filter violated in the literal sense.
 
That makes sense. Did you delete Arsehole's thread? I was going to send a reply somewhere along the lines of "Well, I am dreadfully sorry, but if you're going to be an idiot, well, suffer the consequences. :rolleyes:"

If you did delete it, it was a good idea to, that bloke sounds like the next DeliveratorTitan.
 
yeah, i removed it, mostly because it had no value. if he has something to say, even a complaint about policy, he can post a thread.
 
i was on that before i saw this request. look, all, i'm not going to search out old posts with full swear words slipped in under the radar, that's the past, just either use abbreviated forms or, preferrably, don't use them at all in the public areas of this forum.
 
heh. i've submitted an idea to the other mods. it may make things easier if approved.
 
naw, if ppl like it they may pester jordan, i only mentioned it so that others would know the matter is put up for consideration.

There seems to be some kind of "sticky" frenzy going on. One nice thing about the Rumble Strip is that the entire first page is not static junk nobody reads anyway. The language rules are already in the Acceptable Use area and can be disseminated and enforced without having to throw it in everyone's face every time they come to the Rumble strip.

Please no stickys in the Rumble strip.
