http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=224101

Seriously you want to see not how to rebuild an engine/spraypaint everything (i mean everything) including your propshafts and driveshafts for that pro tuna effect.

I mean just read it seriously. Also please feel free to call me a tard if it's been posted before but I cant see it posted anywhere so here goes.

Saw this on another forum. I couldn't believe this car was serious. Hell I was surprised it actually ran and drove.

I am not following what was going on there.

Click the link and read the thread!
It's a realy simple two step process.

Also there is an update from when I last looked, the guy made his own clutch by welding two together.

I'd say it's a testament to mitsus engine blocks, the thing withstood 7000rpm full load on a dyno after all the 'modifications' they did to it.

Also they used an xspower turbo lols

Wow. Erm, yeah.

Well, I must say it makes me feel good when I can go ahead and rightfully ridicule someone else's welding because I for once am the one with greater skill.

I can't weld and even I was like what the christ when I saw the welds. I mean hell even the exhaust/valve porting is hillarious. Also they just shoved a new crank in without balancing/plastigauge.

Did the same guy do the Nissan in the other thread? WTF is up with he file?

No the Eclipse is somewhere in spain, but I mean can you imagine what sort of automotive horrors would occur if both parties worked on the same car??

Tuna?

Must be, these guys seem about as smart as one.

I love how it came nowhere close to the projected 900whp @10000RPM!

It really was hilarious until he bodged that clutch up. Does he have any idea how much momentum and destructive force they have when they shatter? People have died from it.

this should go to nipponpower.com.mx, what an incredible thread. amazing stuff, I cant believe some stuff, heck, even my wife was laughing.

That is just................

actually I'm lost for words how to describe this oxygen bandit of a mechanic!! What an abortion of a car!!

Another EPIC THREAD by Race Idiot.
I just cannot seem to stop loling after reading that thread...... That was one heck of a modification, I wonder how much did the whole project costs. :D Also, I loved it when they dyno'd the car with the turbo only to have it K.O. on the 3rd run......👍

Just beeyoootiful.

Hey... it's a chinese turbo, that's expected. The amazing thing is the rest of the engine actually held up...

Man... that wasn't anywhere near as entertaining as it should've been. :grumpy:

Thanks for the vid anyway though.

Why do Eclipses almost always meet the wrong owners? I see more stupid crap added to that type of car than all other makes and models put together.

Note to fanboys: I can say this, because I used to own one many years ago.

Let me get this straight:

This guy buys an Eclipse, and plans to build an engine making 900 hp and running 10k revs. He then just scrambles old parts from other cars, buys a big turbo and intercooler and just welds it all together with at least 3 different colours. Later, it turns out the thing is only making 380 hp, and the engine already brakes down after a third attempt?

Am I correct?

Way to destroy such a lovely car as an Eclipse 👎:yuck:

WOW, 380whp at 2bar. At 1.7 bar there are M50 and S50 BMWs doing over 900 whp with about the same things he did but properly done.

Now that I think about it. It's sad that if he was a puerto rican tuner he would have done the same things but more properly done and done some other wierd crap and got 1000whp. I know my the tuner at the shop my uncle worked on made something like those fillings on a old toyota and they did work!

I've been reading through the thread on the Lancer Register (haven't followed the link on pg1 of this thread because I'd already seen it on another forum) and apparently the users on the original site (Spanish, I think) are all in support of this automotive abortion! They've been sending messages to the Lancer board member saying "you're just jealous" and similar twaddle.

It's funny though, they've posted time sheets and the thing is dog slow, considering all the "work" they've done on it.

What isn't funny is the fact that the bodged clutch could shatter, and go straight through the gearbox casing and bulkhead and kill the driver. Or straight through the bodywork and kill a member of the public. I'm in genuine disbelief that some people can be so stupid. And I'm experienced on the levels of stupidity to which some people attain. Them painting the gearbox was funny. Them attatching a potential lethal projectile inside the gearbox less so.
